On Sunday a flock of seersucker cyclists (yes we're doing tongue-twisters now) took to the streets. Rick Houston and his mad band of fashionable followers numbered close to one-hundred strong for the 2012 Seersucker Ride. Easily the best Sunday event to happen so far this year. For those lovers of all things sartorial and two-wheeled, this one's a double-whammy.
Representatives from May is Bike Month were in attendance, as well as a local historian, William Burg, who turned out to be one of the highlights of the ride.
Peep our photos from the event and follow Sacramento Tweed to get the latest on upcoming rides.

Our very own Rob Fatal has an incredible experience to share from this year's Food and Wine event at Pebble Beach, which we were lucky enough to attend. We are currently piecing together a mad batch of interviews from the big day, along with photos of the debauchery, so stay tuned. Pinkies out.

"Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys has passed. GlobalGrind is confirming this very sad news. One of our heroes, Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Beastie Boys has passed this morning after a long bout with cancer. Yauch co-founded Beastie Boys in 1979 with Mike D, Mix Master Mike, and Ad Roc. The group has won multiple Grammys.Yauch became a vegan at the recommendation of his doctors and is survived by his wife and daughter. He was 47."

On April 14th I had the privilege of being invited to one of the kinkiest, exclusive and philanthropic events of the season. A Taste of Rope is an event that was thrown by Kink for A Cause to benefit the legendary Femina Poetens gallery of San Francisco… and I will tell ya it never felt so good to donate.
To catch you up on the night here are the quick facts:
-“Femina Potens is a nationally recognized art gallery and performance space dedicated to the advancement of women and transgendered artists since 2000.”
-FP are sponsored by Queer Cultural Center with support from California Arts Council, San Francisco Arts Commission, the Zellerbach Foundation and Grants for the Arts.
-FP have put together some of the most brilliant and controversial shows and exhibitions in the last decade that rigorously pushed the boundaries and comfort levels of the human body, sexuality and art.
-FP are mad important and integral part to the queer, art and kink worlds.
-FP damn well deserves a benefit event.
See the rest of the review and more photos after the click.
Also heads up, we give the photos the ol' Not Safe For Work (NSFW) disclaimer.
